The studio

A small room in Montagu where grown ups get stronger.

Meraki is a Greek word for putting your heart into your work. We named the studio after it because that is how we coach: properly and patiently, with our attention on you.

Founder and coach

Studio owner

This is where her story goes. How she came to coaching, what she is qualified in and why she chose a small studio in Montagu over a big gym.

Keep it plain and personal. People join a coach before they join a gym, so three honest sentences about why she does this will do more than a wall of certificates.

How we coach

  1. Regular beats hard

Two good classes a week for ten years will do more for you than one brutal month. We coach for the long run.

  2. Form first, weight later

You learn to move well before anything heavy goes in your hands. Then the weight goes up slowly.

  3. Your age is information

Not a verdict. Neither are your old injuries. We work with the body you bring.

  4. Small on purpose

Eight people at most. The coach watches every rep and notices when you have not been in for a while.

  5. Nobody performs

No filming, no posing and no shouting. Grown ups doing honest work and leaving in a better mood.

  6. Strength is for later

We train for being independent at eighty, not for a photo this summer.

Classes run Monday to Saturday.

Every class takes eight people and they are usually full. Put your name down for the next eight, or just WhatsApp. A real person answers.
